Maintenance Technician/Welder and Senior Technical Scientist.

Maintenance Technician/Welder

Our site in Middlesbrough is expanding to meet increased demand and we’re looking for a hands-on Maintenance Technician with welding expertise to join our Engineering Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining equipment, fabricating tooling and ensuring our operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical maintenance on equipment and site facilities
• Apply MIG & TIG welding techniques for mild steel and stainless steel components
• Interpret engineering drawings and work independently to solve technical challenges
• Maintain compliance with Health & Safety regulations related to welding and grinding activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong technical problem-solving skills and experience in MIG & TIG welding
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• A full UK driving licence
